Opera For Weddings, Parties and Special Events in the UK and Overseas

Opera can provide an exceptional party entertainment experience and can inject the special ‘tingle factor’ that only live music can achieve, whether for a birthday party, wedding, anniversary of other celebration. An opera performance can transform a party into something magical and truly memorable for your guests. Opera creates a unique party entertainment. We create opera performances that can link with a dinner in a hotel, a wedding reception in a garden or marquee or an intimate gathering ‘at home’. Opera is about passion and drama, but there are also many lighter moments: Carmen can serenade the guest of honour and give them flowers as she does in the celebrated ‘Habanera’ and Figaro, ‘The Barber of Seville’ and interact with the audience in his famous aria. We work with our clients to create the perfect programme for each occasion including opera, operetta and musicals.

Opera needs an accompaniment, and if a piano is not practical then we can perform with orchestral backing tracks. We can bring our own amplification equipment making it possible to perform in any setting.

Opera can be the perfect entertainment for a Christmas Party too and can end with soloists and audience joining forces in singing a rousing Christmas Carol.

A ‘Surprise Start’ can work particularly well at a private party. Imagine the scenario: your guests are enjoying a drink or dinnerwhen, to their amazement, the waiters burst into singing wonderful opera! Accompaniment can be a solo piano, instrumental ensemble or recorded orchestral backing tracks and the artists can appear in glamorous contemporary evening dress or in stunning period costume to create an added visual impact. The opera performance can be presented at the beginning of the event during a drinks reception, or at the end of the evening as a ‘finale’. Alternatively, the performance can be linked with a dinner and presented in two or three sections dovetailed between the dinner courses.
