Opera Magic was originally created for the Windsor Festival and has now introduced many thousands of children to opera. Opera Magic returns for two performances for local schools with generous support from the D’Oyly Carte Opera Trust.
LFO brings together artists from the major companies including the Royal Opera, ENO and Glyndebourne and has toured throughout the UK and Europe, including performing recently at La Fenice in Venice.
The operettas of Gilbert & Sullivan are the perfect vehicle for introducing new audiences to opera. In addition to grand opera the performance will feature pieces from The Mikado, HMS Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance.
A programme of drama, humour, passion and audience interaction ensure a positive first time at the opera children will remember for ever.
